Egypt and Saudi Arabia yesterday held talks on ways to enhance military cooperation.

Khalifa stressed “Egypt’s pride in its firm relations with the kingdom,” noting “the shared visions for joint plans that benefit the armed forces of both countries.”
The statement quoted the Saudi chief of general staff as “praising Egypt’s influential and effective role in its regional and international environment to achieve security and stability in the Middle East.”
Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Defence said in a post on X that “the Saudi-Egyptian Military Committee held its tenth meeting in Cairo,” adding that the committee discussed “the strategic relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the defence and military fields.”
