The UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said yesterday that water shortages have reached 85 per cent in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, with only three out of 18 wells functioning in the city due to the ongoing Israeli war.
“Not only are people in #Gaza in constant fear for their lives, but they struggle to meet even their most basic needs,” the agency said on X.
In a second post, UNRWA emphasised: “This is a complete stripping of humanity. A never-ending tragedy.”

Families across the #GazaStrip continue to be forced to flee, forced to leave their homes and belongings behind. All they can now do is try to stay alive.
