UK police ask Palestine activist for details of her contacts in Gaza

Activist Sarah Wilkinson was reportedly asked to reveal the location of her contacts in Gaza when she was arrested by UK police earlier this week.

Wilkinson was taken from her home after a morning raid by Counter Terrorism Police on 29 August. According to her son, Jack: “They said she was under arrest for “content that she has posted online.” Her house is being raided & they have seized all her electronic devices.”

She was later released but is banned from using electronic devices.

“The British police asking for locations of individuals inside Gaza is particularly worrying as the UK military shares intelligence extensively with Israel,” Mint Press News said.

Wilkinson has been an outspoken critic of the UK’s support for Israel during its ongoing genocidal bombing campaign in Gaza.

Her arrest came a week after journalist Richard Medhurst was interrogated by UK police under the Terrorism Act at Heathrow Airport and held for almost 24 hours.
