Jordanian King Abdullah II affirmed his country’s support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and its stand against any attempt to displace them.
In a visit to Jerash Governorate, northern Jordan, yesterday, Abdullah affirmed Jordan’s continued support for Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, and its continued historical role in caring for Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
He also reiterated the kingdom’s readiness to respond firmly to any attempts to undermine its sovereignty, whether by settling scores through Jordan or by escalating the situation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
