Turkiye warns misinformation in pro-Israel media fuels occupation

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned of misinformation being spread by the pro-Israel media and stressed the importance of combating it.

In a speech during his participation in a meeting held by the Arab-Islamic Contact Group on Gaza in New York yesterday, Fidan explained that the misinformation promoted by pro-Israel media “is used to deepen and enable the occupation.”

“International law is on our side. Today, thanks to our joint efforts and the resistance of the Palestinians, Palestine has obtained a seat in the United Nations General Assembly,” he added.

Fidan stated that the Contact Group has been doing its utmost since November to stop the genocide committed by Israel and raise awareness at an international level about the ongoing attacks on Palestinian civilians.
