The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmus, has called on Islamic countries to develop a united stance to counter the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Netanyahu and his gang”, Anadolu reported.
During his meeting with Adama Bictogo, the president of the National Assembly of Cote d’Ivoire, on the sidelines of the 149th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva yesterday, Kurtulmus pointed to the deterioration of the situation in the Palestinian territories and the broader region due to Israeli aggression. “Netanyahu and his gang” are working to spread conflict in Lebanon, Syria and Iran, he warned.
He further emphasised that Israeli attacks in the region have “become a problem for the entire world.”
“If it is not possible to stop Netanyahu and his gang, it will be impossible to stop any other brutal force in the world.”
The Turkish speaker also stressed the importance of a unified stance and collective action from Islamic countries to confront Israeli practices.
