The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of armed groups, announced yesterday that it targeted a “military site in the occupied Palestinian territories” using drones.
The coalition said in a statement that its operations to resist the Israeli occupation in support of the people of Palestine and Lebanon are ongoing. It also stressed an escalation in attacks “in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians.”
In two separate statements issued yesterday, the resistance indicated it had targeted two key sites, one in the city of Eilat and the other in southern Israel.
“Continuing our path of resistance against the Israeli occupation, in support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians including children, women and the elderly, Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters in Iraq attacked a vital target in the south of our occupied lands using drones.”
