Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank, this morning, WAFA reported.
The news agency’s correspondent said that a number of occupation military vehicles exited the gates of the illegal Separation Wall west of the villages of Al-Sha’rawiya, north of the governorate, passing through the towns of Attil, Deir Al-Ghusun, the triangle of Allar and Qaffin, Al-Jarushiya, and the suburb of Shuwaika, until they reached the Alimi roundabout, west of the city.
Occupation forces fired tear gas at Palestinians in the vicinity of Al-Younis roundabout in the northern neighbourhood of the city, and imposed a siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, and deployed snipers on the roofs of the surrounding buildings, while sending in more of their machinery and bulldozers.
A WAFA correspondent reported that four military bulldozers are currently destroying and demolishing infrastructure in Al-Muqata’a Street adjacent to the eastern entrance of Tulkarm camp, and the vicinity of the Martyr Saif Abu Libdeh roundabout, and Nablus Street adjacent to the entrances to Nur Shams camp.
