Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed Bin Salman, engaged in bilateral discussions with Tunisian President Kais Saied on fostering bilateral relations and cooperation, Gulf Online reported, citing the Saudi Press Agency (SPA)
In a phone call, the crown prince congratulated Saied on his re-election and “discussed the bilateral relations between the two nations and explored opportunities for cooperation across various fields.”
The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia has continued to progress in multiple areas, with a particular focus on economic and investment sectors. Numerous bilateral agreements were signed last year to strengthen these ties.
In December 2023, the two countries signed seven memoranda of cooperation across industry, tourism, climate, agricultural scientific research, water resources and employment sectors, following a meeting of the joint committee aimed at enhancing collaborative relations.
