The President of Venezuela’s National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguez, has condemned the Israeli genocide in Gaza and reaffirmed his country’s solidarity with the Palestinian people. Speaking at the opening of the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum held in the capital Caracas on Monday, Rodriguez expressed Venezuela’s solidarity with Palestine, stating: “Every hospital that is bombed, and every university and school that is destroyed, highlights what the American military-industrial complex is doing for war profiteers.”

He explained that those “who send bombs, planes, and missiles are just as criminal as the murderers dispatched by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to commit genocide in Gaza.”
