Israeli occupation forces yesterday continued to violate the ceasefire agreement with Lebanese Hezbollah for the second day in a row, under the pretext of warding off dangers to its units that are still present in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli occupation army said yesterday that its air force struck with a drone a facility used by Hezbollah to store mid-range rockets in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese news agency said two people were injured when Israeli forces opened fire in their direction in the Markaba town square in the Marjeyoun district in the south of the country.
The Lebanese News Agency also reported that Israeli tanks fired at the towns of Kfar Shouba and Al-Wazzani in the Hasbaya district in the Nabatieh governorate.
“An [Israeli] enemy tank targeted the outskirts of the town of Kfar Shouba in Hasbaya with two shells”, a source said.

On Wednesday to Thursday night, Israeli artillery shelled the town of Ayta Al-Shaab and the city of Bint Jbeil in the Nabatieh governorate, according to the Lebanese agency, which also reported that Israeli reconnaissance drones flew over the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts.
Later on Thursday afternoon, the agency said “the Israeli enemy targeted the town square of Taybeh, the town of Khiyam and the Marjeyoun with artillery shells, while machine gun bursts were heard in Khiyam”.
A US-French brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect on Wednesday morning, ending 14 months of cross border fire which escalated in September 2024 when Israel intensified its bombing campaign in Lebanon and launched a ground invasion of the country.
