The Palestinian Clans Authority in the Gaza Strip has called on the Palestinian people not to accept forged statements attributed to mukhtars, clans and tribes in the enclave in an anonymised form and not attributed to any known clan individual.
The Commissioner-General of the authority, Aakif Al-Masry, said that the occupation state and its agents are promoting such statements with the aim of damaging the internal front and spreading discord and confusion in Palestinian society.
Al-Masry stressed that the members of the clans in the Gaza Strip are known national figures and are not affiliated with any Palestinian political party. They are, he said, on the same page as the Palestinian people.
