Israel warns citizens against all but essential travel to the Maldives

Israel has called on its citizens to take increased precautionary measures” when travelling to the Maldives and Armenia, in light of terrorist activities, the National Security Council (NSC) said today.

Urging only essential travel to the Maldives, the NSC raised the alert from Level 2 to 3, saying this was “in light of the presence of terrorist supporters on the island alongside increasing hostility toward Israelis and Jews.”

The travel warning for Armenia was raised from Level 1 to Level 2, “in light of the worsening threat to Israelis/Jews in Armenia from terrorist elements,” the NSC said.

Travel warnings for Brazil were lowered to Level 1.

This comes as Israel military warned dozens of its personnel who participated in the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip to avoid foreign travel after complaints were filed against them for war crimes.
