An Israeli drone attack on a civilian vehicle in southern Lebanon on Monday morning killed one Lebanese and wounded several others in another violation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah, the Palestinian Information Centre has reported.
Lebanese sources said that the attack occurred in Bint Jbeil near a Lebanese army checkpoint. They added that Israeli soldiers opened fire at random in Lebanon’s border town of Ras Al-Naquora at dawn today.
Earlier, the National News Agency said that the Israeli army continued to violate the ceasefire agreement on Sunday for the eleventh consecutive day. The agency added that three people were killed on Sunday in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in Al-Arid Al-Tahtani neighbourhood in Dibbine.
The NNA also pointed out that Israeli forces detained two Lebanese citizens from the Al-Sinan family in the town of Ain Qinya, Hasbaya District, while they were picking olives on the Majidiyeh farm near the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms region of Lebanon.
