Ex-Israel DM in US despite ICC arrest warrant

Former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant visited Washington DC despite an ICC arrest warrant being issued against him. Gallant was met by protesters who said ‘Nobody wants you here’ and ‘You are a genocidal war criminal.’ The International Criminal Court (ICC)'s call for Gallant’s arrest is based on his involvement in multiple war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza, on which he imposed a complete siege banning the entry of food, water and medicines.
