More than 800 parents of Israeli occupation soldiers involved in the genocidal war on Gaza have called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the bombing campaign and agree to a ceasefire deal that secures the release of captive soldiers, Israel’s Channel 12 reported yesterday.
The parents of soldiers fighting in Gaza or who previously fought in the enclave accused Netanyahu of acting irresponsibly in managing the war and threatened to launch an “all-out struggle.”
“Our sons and daughters set out on a necessary war brought upon us by your actions,” the parents said in their letter, adding that their children had “lost many friends and are continuing to die and get injured, mentally and physically.”
“We cannot allow you to continue sacrificing our children as cannon fodder,” Parents of Soldiers Say Enough added.
The families also accused Netanyahu and his government of obstructing the conclusion of a deal that would allow for the release of captives.
