The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), an NGO based in Brussels, filed a lawsuit against Israeli soldier Boaz Ben David with the Swedish authorities on charges of committing war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of genocide during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
The foundation indicated in a statement on Thursday that it filed a lawsuit against an Israeli soldier in Sweden, who is an Israeli sniper from Battalion 932 in the Nahal Brigade. It confirmed that he played a direct role in the indiscriminate targeting of civilians, the destruction of Palestinian homes and systematic acts of violence in the Strip.
The main acts linking Ben David to war crimes include sniper operations in Gaza City, the destruction of civilian property, attacks on hospitals and medical facilities and the intent to commit genocide evident in his explicit calls for the mass killing and expulsion of Palestinians.

The foundation provided evidence to support its complaint, including Ben David’s social media posts, eyewitness testimonies, journalist documentation and United Nations reports.
The Israeli occupation army, backed by the US and Europe, has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip for 460 consecutive days. The attacks killed and wounded over 155,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. More than 11,000 are believed to be missing amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
