New video footage has emerged allegedly further proving the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) arming of Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), raising concerns of Abu Dhabi’s continued enabling of the deadly conflict.
On Saturday, the Sudanese military captured the strategic city of Wad Madani, taking it from the RSF after over a year of the group occupying it, in the latest significant gain for the country’s armed forces in the ongoing 15-month-long conflict.
Following the capture, footage and photos soon emerged and circulated online showing Sudanese soldiers walking around a warehouse in Wad Madani, which was seen filled with large boxes and packages.
A warehouse of Emirati ammunition and missiles was discovered in Wad Madani, in Sudan, after the Sudanese army captured the key RSF-held area on Saturday.

One soldier in a video is heard saying that the weapons – which reportedly consist of ammunition and missiles – all originate from the UAE, a claim which seems to have been further backed up by other images of weapons stockpiles and their labelling that have subsequently surfaced online.
All these UAE supplied weapons that the RSF left in Al Gezira are going to come in handy, when the main battle theatre becomes West Sudan 🤌🏽😌 pic.twitter.com/mDtQLeZAFe

Despite numerous reports and investigations over the past year that have increasingly found Emirati weapons being transported to Sudan’s RSF via Chad, as well as a UN panel of experts backing that up in January last year, the UAE has consistently denied any involvement in arms supplies.
