Turkiye: 3 citizens lost crossing into Israel

Turkiye said yesterday that it is continuing its communication with the relevant authorities regarding the fate of three Turkish citizens who lost contact while attempting to cross illegally from Lebanon into Israel.

The announcement was made in a post on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ account on X.

The ministry said: “Efforts are ongoing with relevant authorities to ascertain the fate of three of our citizens who lost contact while attempting to enter Israel illegally from Lebanon.

It added: “The situation is being closely monitored, and the families of the missing individuals are being regularly updated on any developments.”
