Hundreds of humanitarian and relief aid trucks have moved from Egypt to the Gaza Strip after being inspected by Israeli occupation forces at the Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) and El-Ouga (Nitzana) crossings.
An informed source in the Egyptian Red Crescent said 90 trucks, including 78 trucks carrying humanitarian, food and relief aid and 12 fuel trucks, travelled into Gaza.
After security checks, these supplies were distributed by humanitarian organisations throughout Gaza.
According to the source the trucks were delivered to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and the Palestinian Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip.
The source added that hundreds of trucks are waiting in front of the Rafah crossing to enter the Gaza Strip after undergoing the necessary procedures by Israel.
