Palestine Book Awards

Middle East Monitor (MEMO) is delighted to announce the return of the Palestine Book Awards for its 14th consecutive year, and we invite publishers, authors and individuals to submit their latest works for consideration. Winners will be selected across several categories, including Academic, Translation, Creative, Memoir and Social History.

In light of ongoing events and heightened global attention on Palestine, it is more important than ever to spotlight the lived experiences, rich history and struggles of the Palestinian people. Through this annual celebration of literature, MEMO seeks to highlight emerging and new books on Palestine and the Palestinian narrative.

Books eligible for submission must be written in English on the topic of Palestine, and published between May 2024 and April 2025. An awards ceremony will take place to honour authors, with winners announced in November 2025 in the presence of publishers, authors, journalists, academics and politicians.

We welcome all submissions. Please review the eligibility criteria and nominate a book here to elevate important new works about Palestine so they receive the recognition they deserve.
