Fifteen Palestinian prisoners who were freed from Israeli jails as part of a prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel, will arrive in Turkiye today, coming from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Quds Press reported.
Some 99 freed Palestinians arrived in Egypt yesterday as part of the deal.
An informed source in the Hamas movement told Quds Press that Turkiye, Qatar, Pakistan, and Malaysia have agreed to host the freed Palestinians while contacts continue with Algeria and Indonesia to accept others.
The source said Tunisia refused to host Palestinians, noting that Egypt, the transit point, has agreed to host prisoners who belong to the Fatah movement only.
Egypt has allocated an army-owned hotel in the New Administrative Capital to host the released Palestinians. Hamas has questioned the high costs of such a hotel, however Qatar pledged to cover the expenses.
