The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, yesterday condemned the Israeli “drone attack” that killed three policemen in Rafah city as a “serious violation of the ceasefire agreement”, Quds Press reported.
The movement said in a statement the Israeli attack is a new violation of the ceasefire deal added to its list of crimes and violations including its announcement earlier in the day of banning the entry of caravans and heavy machinery into the besieged enclave.
“The Isreali occupation’s delay in starting the second phase of negotiations, confirms its lack of seriousness in adhering to the agreement and reveals the true intentions of the war criminal [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu aimed at obstructing the deal’s progress, as well as his quest to return to the aggression and to commit more crimes of genocide,” in Gaza.
Hamas held Israel “fully responsible for the repercussions” of its violation, and called on the mediators to shoulder their responsibilities in ensuring Tel Aviv fulfill all its obligations, and stop its repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement, as well as making sure it implements the humanitarian protocol with all its provisions, and to immediately begin the second phase of negotiations.
