Turkiye is ready to provide contributions and share its expertise to support the financial system that Syria will establish, the director of the Finance Office of the Turkish Presidency has said.
In his statement to Anadolu news agency, Goksel Asan indicated that the Syrian government could benefit from the Turkish experience in building a special system for open and digital banking services. This, he explained, would allow Syria to accomplish in three to five years what it will accomplish within 20 years using traditional means.
He stated that this model of banking can be established at low costs and with fewer human resources, especially with the presence of many Syrian human resources outside the country at the present time.
He stressed that Turkiye can contribute to the financial system that Syria will establish in a manner aligning with the instructions of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
