Three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli attack that targeted a gathering of citizens east of Gaza City yesterday evening.
Local sources reported that an Israeli drone bombed a group of citizens in the Shuja’iyya neighbourhood, killing three Palestinians and injuring several others.
A fire also broke out in a residential apartment near Al-Saqa roundabout, west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation forces fired an artillery shell at the area. No injuries were reported during the attack.
A Palestinian was also injured by Israeli drone fire in the Saudi neighbourhood west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Two Palestinians were also injured this morning after an Israeli quadcopter targeted a displacement tent in Rafah.
The Israeli bombing of the Shuja’iyya neighbourhood and Rafah come less than 24 hours after a group of Palestinians were injured in a similar air strike in Beit Hanoun, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
A fragile ceasefire since 19 January is at risk of collapse as a result of Israel’s increased attacks on Palestinians and refusal to negotiate to extend the deal as per the terms of the original agreement.
