Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today said that Ankara is working to establish itself as a hub for “peace diplomacy.”
“We are turning Turkiye into one of the central hubs of ‘peace diplomacy’, going beyond being a source of stability for its region,” Erdogan said from the capital city.
“We are going through a difficult period marked by tensions, wars, and conflicts between brothers, both in our region and around the world.”
“Our brothers in Sudan have long suffered from a cycle of instability, and we see Somalia, Libya, Yemen, and Afghanistan facing very difficult tests,” he said.
Erdogan noted that Turkiye “not only raises the banner of goodness but also spreads an atmosphere of peace, security, and reassurance throughout the world, especially in areas subject to injustice.”
