Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi has described the war launched by Israel and the United States against Iran as “immoral and illegal”, while also condemning Iranian strikes on neighbouring countries.
Al-Busaidi made the remarks during an emergency ministerial meeting of the Arab League, held remotely on Sunday to discuss the regional repercussions of the conflict that began on 28th February.
In excerpts from his speech published on his account on the social media platform X, the Omani minister said: “The actions of Israel and the United States against Iran are immoral and illegal, but Iran’s response to its neighbours is extremely regrettable and unacceptable.”
