The commander of the air force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Majid Mousavi, said Iran will no longer launch missiles carrying warheads lighter than one tonne at US or Israeli targets.
Local media quoted Mousavi on Monday as saying that missile strikes on Israeli and American targets would intensify.
Since 28th February, Israel and the United States have carried out attacks on Iran that have killed hundreds of people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several security officials. Tehran has responded by launching barrages of missiles and drones towards Israel.
Iran has also targeted what it describes as “US interests” in Gulf countries, Jordan and Iraq with missiles and drones. The attacks have caused deaths and injuries and damaged civilian property. The targeted Arab states have condemned the strikes and called for them to stop.
