US intelligence reports indicate that Iran’s leadership remains largely united and is not at risk of collapsing soon, according to three sources cited by Reuters.

One source familiar with the discussions of US intelligence findings said that many reports provide consistent analyses showing the regime is maintaining control over public opinion and is not facing imminent collapse.

The source added that the latest report was completed in the past few days.

Earlier, an Israeli security official said that toppling the Iranian regime is no longer seen as a realistic objective in the ongoing conflict, despite Israel having stated this goal at the start.

Israel’s Channel 12 quoted the official as saying: “The chance to overthrow the Iranian regime, which could have gone down in history, now seems less realistic.” He added that a more achievable aim is “destroying infrastructure and undermining the regime.”
