Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to target American companies operating in neighbouring countries in response to what it described as US-Israeli attacks on Iran.

According to Iranian media reports, the IRGC said it would begin targeting companies such as Google and Apple from the start of April.

The list of 18 companies mentioned in the threat reportedly includes Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing.

In its statement, the IRGC described US companies in the region as “spy companies”, accusing them of being involved in assassinations and of “actively participating in planning terrorism”. It said these firms would be considered “legitimate targets” from now on.

The statement added: “These companies should expect the destruction of their affiliated units in response to every act of terrorism carried out in Iran, starting from 8 pm Tehran time on Wednesday, 1st April.”
