Israeli settlers on Monday damaged the only water pipeline supplying the village of Umm Safa in the central occupied West Bank.
Local sources told Anadolu Agency that settlers destroyed the village’s main and only water pipeline while bulldozing Palestinian-owned land and constructing a settlement road near the village, northwest of Ramallah.
The sources said the damage to the pipeline caused a complete water outage in the village.
The village of Umm Safa is witnessing an escalation in settler attacks launched from surrounding settlements and outposts in all directions, preventing Palestinians from accessing their lands.
The occupied West Bank has witnessed a rise in attacks by Israeli settlers and the Israeli army against Palestinian agricultural land, including arson, land clearing and preventing farmers from accessing their fields, particularly in areas close to settlements and settlement outposts.
