Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic inaugurated a factory for assembling Israeli-made drones, which will produce equipment for the Serbian Armed Forces and the militaries of other countries, Anadolu reports.

“I opened a factory for the assembly of the most modern Israeli-made drones, which will employ around 100 workers and produce state-of-the-art equipment both for the Serbian Armed Forces and the armies of some other countries,” Vucic announced in a social media post.

He noted that at least three more factories will be opened across Serbia with Israeli partners.

“Our plans are huge,” Vucic also said.

Vucic further told daily Informer that the goal of the factory opening was to preserve peace and stability, and to be strong enough to deter all potential aggressors, according to broadcaster RTS.
