Police intervened in a pro-Palestinian demonstration and detained some of those who refused to leave in Berlin, on Wednesday, Anadolu reports.
More than 1,000 people gathered at Oranien Square to protest what they described as Israel’s genocide in Gaza, before marching toward Hermann Square.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others, according to Palestinian figures.
The war has also destroyed about 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure.
