The Israeli army arrested 30 Palestinians, including two women and a journalist, on Wednesday during raids across cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, Anadolu reports.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office said the Israeli army carried out a wide-scale arrest campaign in Jenin governorate in the north, detaining 14 Palestinians.
The army also rearrested former prisoner Shaima Abu Ghali during a raid on the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city.
In Nablus governorate, the Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians from al-Ain refugee camp, a woman during a raid on the Old City, and a former prisoner from his home in Yatma, south of the governorate.
In Tulkarem governorate, they rearrested journalist Hazem Nasser after raiding his home. The army also detained a university professor and his son from their residence in the Iktaba housing complex, along with two other former prisoners from the Iktaba suburb.
Israeli authorities released Nasser on Oct. 20 after holding him in administrative detention for more than two years. They rearrested him following a raid on his home in Tulkarem.

In Qalqilya governorate, northwest of the occupied West Bank, forces arrested three young men during a raid on the town of Azzun, east of the governorate.
The Prisoners’ Media Office said the escalating raids and arrests across West Bank governorates reflected a continued policy of collective persecution and targeting journalists, community figures, and women, in ongoing violations of Palestinians’ rights.
The office has repeatedly reported that Israeli forces arrest large numbers of Palestinians and subject them to field interrogations during raids across West Bank cities and governorates, later releasing some of them.
Since the beginning of its war on Gaza in October 2023, the Israeli army has stepped up operations in the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, alongside an escalation in occupier violence.
These attacks have killed more than 1,220 Palestinians and wounded around 13,350 others in the West Bank, while more than 26,000 have been arrested, according to Palestinian figures.
