Hamas has called for urgent international intervention in response to the intensification of the Israeli occupation’s aggression and bombardment of civilians in the eastern areas of Khan Yunis. Scores of Palestinians were killed yesterday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians just one hour after ordering them to vacate parts of the city.
Hamas demanded the international community and the United Nations halt the systematic killing of Palestinians by Zionist forces, citing concerns of genocide occurring in full view of the world.
In a press statement issued yesterday, the movement added that “our people will remain steadfast, holding onto their land, and the resistance will continue to confront this criminal enemy who seeks to displace our people and erase our national cause.”
Hamas stressed that Gaza will remain unbreakable until the occupation is expelled, paving the way for freedom, return and self-determination.
