The Rade’ unit, the field arm of the Palestinian resistance security forces in the Gaza Strip, said on Wednesday that attempts to form collaborator gangs in the territory failed from the very beginning.

In a statement received by Quds Press, the unit said public awareness had foiled the occupation’s plans to spread chaos and weaken the internal front.

It added that the next stage would focus on removing the remaining elements of these collaborator gangs from the Gaza Strip, stressing that their role was coming to an end and that holding those involved to account was only a matter of time.

The unit said it is closely monitoring the issue and called on members of the collaborator gangs to surrender before it was too late and to regularise their status under the applicable legal frameworks.

In the same context, Rade thanked the families of some of those involved who had taken the initiative to hand in their sons and cooperate with the relevant authorities to resolve their security cases in line with the law. It described this as “a responsible step that serves social stability and protects the internal front”.
