2 children among 11 Palestinians arrested in Israeli raids in West Bank

The Israeli army arrested 11 Palestinians, including two children, during raids across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Israeli forces detained two children, aged 14 and 15, after raiding their homes in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Wafa said.

In the northern Jenin governorate, the army arrested eight Palestinians during raids on Jenin city and several towns and villages, which also involved searches of homes and field interrogations.

Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian after raiding his home in Tammun, south of Tubas.

Israeli military raids and attacks by occupiers have intensified across the occupied West Bank since the Gaza war in October 2023.

​​​​​​​More than 25,000 Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank since then, including more than 100 over the past week, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society.
