Twenty-one Palestinians, including four children, were injured Monday in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, despite a ceasefire agreement in force since last October, Anadolu reports.

In the latest developments, medical sources told Anadolu that 10 Palestinians were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a tent on Al-Wahda Street in central Gaza City.

The sources described the condition of two of the injured as “critical,” while eyewitnesses said the strike hit a crowded area sheltering displaced people near Al-Wafa Hospital in the city center.

Earlier, medical sources said eight Palestinians, including four children, were injured when an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a gathering of civilians near a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The sources described the condition of two of the injured also as “critical,” saying they were receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Nasser Hospital.

In a separate incident, a young Palestinian man sustained moderate injuries after Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis, a medical source at Al-Amal Hospital said.

Israeli vehicles fired heavily toward homes and tents sheltering displaced people in areas east and south of Khan Younis, witnesses said.

In central Gaza, a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said two injured people arrived after an Israeli drone strike targeted a gathering of civilians on Salah al-Din Street, east of Al-Zawaida town.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have killed 1,372 Palestinians and injured 4,659 others as of Monday, according to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Since Oct. 8, 2023, Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000 others in its genocide in Gaza, while destroying around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure.
