Gazans look for survivors using torch light amidst Israeli bombing & blackout

As intense Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip enters its fourth week, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are forced to search for survivors using torch lights amidst shortages in electricity and fuel. The heavy bombardment over the weekend disrupted telecommunication services across the Strip, isolating its 2.2 million inhabitants and making it difficult to reach ambulance and civil defence services. Communication was partially restored on Sunday. Gaza's Health Ministry reports a death toll of over 8,000 Palestinians, primarily women and children.
