Russia plans to start naval exercises in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea, near Syria, on 15 August.
Guided and winged missiles will be tested during the process, Russian news agencies cited the Russian defence ministry saying yesterday.
Two war planes, Serpokhov and Silionidol, which are provided with guided missiles, will take part in the exercises.
