University students leave coup-organisers quaking in their boots

January 23, 2014 at 6:19 am

As expected, students have revived the momentum of the revolution in Egypt. Students have been the fuel for revolutions throughout history and so the coup-organisers feared the start of a new school year after the summer vacation and the return of students to their schools and universities, especially al-Azhar University with many faculties and institutions all over the country. They have instead, postponed the beginning of the school year for over a month out of fear of igniting a new wave of anger that will burn their frail thrones, which are even more fragile than a spider’s web.

The evidence of this lies in the blundered decisions of the transitional government, which has ordered the security services to violently confront peaceful student protests with live ammunition at al-Azhar University. These students were demanding the fall of the coup and the return of legitimacy to the country through the restoration of Dr Mohamed Morsi as the elected president and the constitution passed by referendum.

This is what scares the coup leaders and their sham opportunist politicians who have no real presence on the ground. They are merely voices existing only in air-conditioned television studios with corrupt media personalities who are paid millions to lie, mislead and deceive the audience in order to brainwash them and reconstruct them to the fascist coup leaders’ liking. They are supported by corrupt businessmen who steal Egypt’s fortunes, seize its bounties and suck the hard-working and helpless Egyptian people dry. These businessmen spend millions on rooting the coup to the ground in Egypt and ending protests condemning the military coup.

As for the military leaders, led by al-Sisi, who carried out the coup and killed thousands of innocent people, they fear the day that might seem them beheaded by the people’s guillotine. In order to avoid this or the ghost that continues to haunt them as the protests pick up pace throughout Egypt, they are making foolish mistakes, which indicate the fragility of their situation and their fear of what’s to come. Even the Rabaa hand salute has them quaking in their boots. Just imagine! A sign with the Rabaa solute carried by a 10 year old child scares them and drives them to arrest this innocent child! The Rabaa hand salute is now viewed by the coup-organisers as a crime that warrants arrest and imprisonment, they have completely lost their minds and are acting mindlessly!

They are acting out of hostility and revenge and this will only hasten their defeat. Every time I see their foolishness, I become more optimistic that they will be leaving sooner. There is a well-known rule, whenever your opponent acts stupidly; you know you are the victor. The coup-leaders are growing stupider by the day, and that means their end will soon come at the hands of the glorious triumphant people.
