The Syrian army said that it has destroyed an Israeli vehicle that crossed the ceasefire line in the Golan Heights into the Syrian territories.

The Israeli army responded with firing a Tammuz missile on a Syrian site in the Golan Heights after Syrians opened fire on an Israeli army patrol that was carrying out routine work.

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Tuesday that an Israeli military vehicle that was carrying out routine work near the borderline was damaged as a result of “deliberate” gunfire from the Syrian side.

Yedioth Ahronoth added that the Israeli army responded with firing back a Tammuz missile at where gunfire was launched on the Israeli vehicle. According to Israeli sources, there were no casualties among the Israeli military.
