Erdogan heads security summit in Ankara

A security summit began a short while ago in Cankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara, Turkey. It will be headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and aims to discuss the latest security developments in the region, sources revealed.

The summit began after the Turkish government approved a memorandum authorising them to send armed forces out of the country to carry out military operations. The decision was approved last night in an effort to protect Turkey from being exposed to outside terrorist attacks from Syria and Iraq.
