Jordan MB says Syria under Russian-Iranian occupation

The Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan has condemned what it called the Russian-Iranian occupation of Syria as well as the massacres committed by Daesh and the Assad regime.

The group spokesman Moath Khawaldeh said yesterday: “As the Syrian regime continues its heinous war crimes using all weapons of mass destruction and torture against the Syrian people, Russia along with the Iranian forces moved from supporting this criminal regime and defending it to becoming occupiers of the Syrian territories amid Arab silence and international complicity.”

“We condemn this systematic offence against the Syrian people and hold all parties involved fully responsible for the innocent lives lost every day and call on the Muslim nations to support the Syrian people in the face of this barbaric invasion,” the statement read.

“We in the Muslim Brotherhood reiterate our rejection of any Western intervention in the Syrian territories and any new colonial divisional solutions there,” it added.
