Netanyahu to receive Republican candidate Trump

December 10, 2015 at 11:03 am

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to receive notorious Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump, who suggested banning the entry of Muslims to America, Arab48.com reported yesterday.

Netanyahu’s office claimed it invited Trump two weeks ago, prior to his controversial remarks, with sources saying Netanyahu “does not agree with all remarks of the US presidential candidates.”

It is worth noting that Israeli Knesset member Michael Rosin has collected 37 signatures from Member of the Knesset requesting Netanyahu condemn Trump’s remarks and cancel his visit.

The letter said: “At the time the world leaders condemned the racist and provocative remarks for the Republicans, Netanyahu warmly hugs him.”

Meanwhile, the head of Meretz Zahava Gal On said that it is “shameful” that the PM “gives legitimacy” to someone who does not deserve to be dealt with as a head of a state.
