Palestinian activists revealed that the campaign dedicated to rebuild the houses of Palestinian families destroyed by Israel revealed that they collected $260,000, Quds Press reported on Tuesday.
One of the campaigners Mazen Al-Danbak said in a press conference that the donations were collected in only one week and included cash and in kind donations such as household appliances, cement and bricks.
He said that the money was deposited in a bank account until a new site for the houses could be found as Israel destroyed the houses and confiscated the land.
Al-Danbak stressed that the campaign was launched to secure lodges for the displaced families, calling for the Palestinian Authority (PA) to bear its responsibility regarding this issue.
