Al-Jazeera reporter missing in Yemen

Al-Jazeera Arabic correspondent in Yemen Hamdi Al-Bokari and his crew went missing in Taiz, Yemen, on Monday night and are believed to have been kidnapped, Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported.

The Al-Jazeera network yesterday called for the immediate release of its correspondent and held the kidnappers responsible for his safety.

The network said it had lost contact with Bokari and his crew which includes press photographer, Abdulaziz Al-Sabri and the driver, Moneer Al-Sabai on Monday evening.

No one has claimed responsibility for their disappearance.
