Saudi arrests 33 terror suspects, including 9 Americans

Saudi Arabian police forces arrested 33 terror suspects during one week, including nine Americans, AFP reported unidentified sources saying yesterday.

According to the Saudi Gazette four of the Americans were arrested last Monday and the other five were arrested previously.

The source added that the suspects included 14 Saudis, three Yemenis, two Syrians, one Emirati, one Indonesian, one Kazakhstani and a Palestinian.

On Friday, four Saudis were killed and 36 others were wounded in a suicide attack targeted a Shia mosque in the east of the Kingdom.

The Saudi interior ministry said that police revealed two would-be suicide bombers who were attempting to target another mosque, one detonated the bomb he was carrying killing himself, while the other exchanged fire with the police before he was arrested.
