Palestinian family calls for release of son kidnapped in Holland

A Palestinian dentist living in Holland with his wife and four children have gone missing and no news has been received about his whereabouts, his brother told PalSawa yesterday.

Contact with 38-year-old dentist Adnan Kollab ceased at the end of last week, his brother Ghassan said, adding that efforts were being made by the Euro-Mid Observer for Human Rights to locate him.

Adnan has previously been kidnapped, along with his wife and children. He was tortured and banned from work and had all of his official documents confiscated.

“Since last year, my brother and his family have been kidnapped and tortured several times,” Ghassan said. “After speaking with the Euro-Mid and the High Commissioner in Gaza, my brother was thrown in the street after all of his official documents were confiscated.”

Ghassan said that his brother’s wife is Russian and she was kidnapped and tortured when she went to the police station to ask for her husband and children to be released last year.

Kollab called for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and all international organisations to immediately interfere and locate his brother and return him to Gaza.
