Three senior Iranian officers who have been operating as advisors to the Syrian regime President Bashar Al-Assad were killed in confrontations with rebels in Syria, Al Jazeera cited Iranian media sources as saying.
Iran News Update revealed that as many as 11 members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards were killed in Syria over the course of three days.
According to the site, six IRG members were killed on 5 April, two on 6 April in Aleppo, and three more on 7 April.
Seven Pakistanis and Afghans were also killed on 5 April.
